Haridwar, Kedarnath and Badrinath Tour Itinerary


Day 1 : Delhi to Haridwar (220 km / 5-6 hrs)
Pick-up from Delhi and drive to Haridwar.
Sightseeing in Haridwar:
Har Ki Pauri (for Ganga Aarti)
Mansa Devi Temple (optional via ropeway)
Chandi Devi Temple (optional)
Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2 : Haridwar to Barkot (180 km / 7 hrs)
En route stop at Mussoorie for sightseeing:
Kempty Falls
Continue to Barkot.
Check-in and overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3 : Barkot – Yamunotri Darshan – Barkot (45 km drive + 6 km trek one way)
Drive to Janki Chatti.
Trek or take a pony/palki to Yamunotri Temple.
Holy bath at Surya Kund, darshan at Yamunotri Temple.
Return trek to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.
Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 4 : Barkot to Uttarkashi (90 km / 4 hrs)
Drive to Uttarkashi, a sacred town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
Sightseeing:
Vishwanath Temple
Shakti Temple
Kuteti Devi Temple (optional)
Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 5 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri Darshan – Uttarkashi (100 km one way / 4 hrs)
Early morning drive to Gangotri Temple.
Holy dip in Bhagirathi River at Gangotri.
Visit Pandava Gufa and Bhairon Ghati (if time permits).
Return to Uttarkashi.
Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 6 : Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 9 hrs)
Drive to Guptkashi via Rudraprayag.
Rudraprayag Sightseeing:
Confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers
Rudranath Temple
Reach Guptkashi and check in.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 7 : Guptkashi to Kedarnath (by Helicopter or Trek)
Option 1: Helicopter (Phata/Guptkashi Helipad - Kedarnath Helipad)
Fly to Kedarnath, darshan at Kedarnath Temple.
Overnight stay in Kedarnath (basic accommodation).

Option 2: Trek/Pony/Palki (16 km from Gaurikund)
Drive to Gaurikund and start trek.
Reach Kedarnath, darshan at Kedarnath Temple.
Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 8 : Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Helicopter pilgrims: Fly back to Phata/Guptkashi.
Trekking pilgrims: Trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 9 : Guptkashi to Badrinath (190 km / 8 hrs)
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.
Visit Badrinath Temple and take a holy dip in Tapt Kund.
Attend evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple.
Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 10 : Badrinath – Mana Village – Rudraprayag (160 km / 7 hrs)
Early morning visit to Mana Village:
Vyas Gufa
Bhim Pul
Saraswati River

Drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath Sightseeing:
Narsingh Temple
Vishnu Prayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Dhauliganga)
Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 11 : Rudraprayag to Delhi (360 km / 10 hrs)
Drive back to Delhi.
Drop-off in the evening, marking the end of the Char Dham Yatra.
